Toyota Oil Change Coupon

People often decide that they want to buy a Toyota based on the reputation they have for being vehicles that “last forever.”  Most Toyota owners you might know really don’t complain about their cars, since they are made to last while also being good cars.

In order to keep your Toyota running “forever”, you still need to take care of it.  Chances are if you are the type of person that bought a car because of its reliability, you are a responsible enough person to get your oil changed as well as other regularly schedule maintenance.  Proper and timely auto maintenance can keep any car running as long as possible, but you’ll notice that the Toyota’s will go much longer in most cases.

Toyota Complimentary Maintenance Plan

Newly leased or purchased Toyotas will come with a  2-year/25K-mile Toyota Care plan.  During this time period you will get 24-hour roadside assistance along with complimentary maintenance.  During that time period, you will be reminded of upcoming scheduled maintenance.  The complimentary maintenance includes Engine oil and filter, Tire rotation and Multi-point inspection during that 2 year or 25 mile period.

Toyota Recommended Motor Oil

Toyota recommends that you ask for synthetic motor oil when you have the option.  Synthetic oil can help your car run longer and require less frequent oil changes.  Genuine Toyota 0W-20 synthetic motor oil claims to provide more engine protection, better gas mileage, more stability and more miles between oil changes.  This goes for the Camry, Corolla, 4Runner, Prius, Sequoia, Sienna, Tacoma, Tundra, Venza, Matrix and Highlander.

Synthetic Oil Change Frequency

Under normal driving conditions you can use this chart, provided by Toyota, with the recommended miles until your next oil change with Toyotas. If you live in an area with extreme temperature, you drive under more extreme conditions or you use your vehicle to tow anything then you might want to change your oil more often.  It appears that the synthetic oil change intervals for newer Toyotas is about 10,000 miles, while they recommend that you come in every 5,000 miles at least to inspect your car.
